Description

EDDHA (ethylenediamine-N, N'-bis (2-hydroxyphenylacetic acid) is the iron chelate that can be absorbed in the widest pH range. Nutrients chelated with EDDHA remain absorbable in a range of pH 3-11. This makes Fe EDDHA extremely suitable for use in soils or food solutions with a high pH. Furthermore, the use of EDDHA is recommended in periods when the uptake activity of the plant is low.

EDDHA is available in different formations. 
Anafer Green has 2.0% ortho-ortho isomer availble.
Anafer Red has 4.8% ortho-ortho isomer available.
The orto-ortho isomer is considerd the most stable isomer.
This is why Anafer red, owning the highest percentage of o-o isomer, is recommended when iron is applied only a few times a year and especially for calcareous and alkaline soils.
